the story behind Opal Bay

What started as a dream (and a whole lot of Pinterest boards) slowly turned into something real — something bold.

I created Opal Bay because I wanted more than just a space with good lighting and pretty walls. I wanted to build a place where ideas spark, confidence grows, and creativity feels at home.

The name “Opal Bay” was no accident. Opals symbolize creativity, clarity, and transformation — all things I’ve experienced (and still am) while bringing this studio to life. And “Bay” felt like the perfect nod to calm, open spaces that invite you to pause, play, and create.

This isn’t just a studio. It’s a space built by a creative, for creatives. Whether you're a photographer, podcaster, event host, or just someone chasing that next big idea — I hope Opal Bay feels like a soft place to land and a bold place to begin.

We're just getting started — and I’m so glad you’re here for it.
